1. Why are the rules of annulling vows of a wife by her husband repeated? 2. Why is the one-fiftieth of the spoils given to the people not spelled out in number format (in contrast to the 1/500th of the soldiers)? 3. Why does משה interpret the initial request of בני ראובן ובני גד as refusing to conquer ארץ כנען? 4. What is the meaning of חצי שבט מנשה taking land on the East bank? Their being given land is out of context, and they have to conquer land, rather than build cities in already conquered territory (which is what בני ראובן ובני גד.do).

1. 25:1 tells us that it was the women from מואב who seduces the men. Why then is the war to be engaged with מדין (only)? 2. Why are מנשה counted before אפרים, in distinction to most of the rest of the time when the two are mentioned? 3. The instructions to יהושע are not the same as what משה requested. Why? 4. In the section of תמידין ומוספים, we sometimes find the detail of the נסכים ומנחות that accompanied the various קורבנות. Why is this necessary since these rules were already mentioned in פרשת שלח לך?

1. Why do we need so much detail of the story of בלק and בלעם? 2. In their conversations, בלק and בלים always refer to ״העם״, without saying whom explicitly. Why? 3.
